Only a week has passed since Bungie revealed the release date of Destiny's second expansion House of Wolves with a prologue trailer. They also promised a livestream on the studio's Twitch Channel on April 22nd to tell us more about what they have in store for the big day, and today they released a teaser trailer to remind us. It gave us a few glimpses of what is to come:

Through these few seconds of footage we get a brief look at the Queen's Bay, the new social space located on the Reef, the home of the Awoken. Here, Guardians will be able to hang out with other players and new non-playable characters, including one of the Fallen. New vendors and new events will be located here just like we are used to from the original social hub, the Tower.

Thus far, it seems that fans have been particularly exited about the possible new gear upgrades that will allow for upgrades to exotics and legendary gear and weapons. From the new teaser trailer we get a quick look at a players inventory, and lo and behold, the Light level is set to 34. This should indicate that despite the fact that there is no new Raid added, there will still be a level cap raise. Those gear upgrades they hinted earlier make a little more sense now. We still haven't seen any new pieces of gear from the DLC footage yet, but it would be strange if that was left out entirely. In the past the best gear has been available through Raids, but with the next one not even dated yet, players will have to be patient. Unless some of the new game modes are going to provide better gear drops than normal, that is.

For all the juicy details and news, make sure to be there for tomorrow's livestream, which will be hosted by Bungie's community manager, Deej, creative director Christopher Barrett and also a member from the community, Gothalion. The broadcast will provide a walkthrough of the new social space as well as show off and explain some of the new content that has yet to be revealed. The stream starts at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET.

House of Wolves launches on May 19th and is included with the $35 Destiny DLC pass or can be purchased by itself for $20.
