No other information has been reported about what maps, vehicles, or even weapons will be featured in this future military-style Battlefield installment, only that a confirmation has been made that a new title will be entered in the series. I'm hoping that along with the expansive multiplayer experience, that the next installment will return to the squad we played as part of in the Bad Company sub-series, as the campaigns from Battlefield 3 and 4 had new main protagonists with the original Bad Company squad heading to Alaska.
For a company that rolls out yearly sports games, while simultaneously releasing some unfinished products or pushing out games riddled with fps issues and bugs, this new plan definitely seems like the devs are taking on a bit more than they can chew. I'll surely be following this new idea just to see if all goes well, or, if some of the titles come out well before their ready, causing months of patches to follow their production.
Along with this new approach, EA has also reconfirmed three titles to be shipped out by the final quarter of the company's fiscal year, (January through March 2016) including Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and Unravel.
