This week's livestream from Bungie has brought us even more information in regards to the update coming out later this month. We have already heard about new light levels, the revamped Prison of Elders, new gear drop levels and more, but now it's time to focus on the aesthetics. That's right, we now have confirmation that we will be receiving brand new ways to customize our gear to best fit our preferences. From new gear and shaders to the new Chroma, this update is sure to please!

First things first, the new armor. We will be receiving a brand new spring line of armor that is sure to keep your Guardian fashionable. From new Faction-based armor to an ominous looking Taken outfit, there are plenty of styles to choose from! To add on to this, we will also be getting Chroma. Chroma is a new way to add luminous glow to your armor. It's obtained through Sterling Treasure boxes and is really cool! This brings us to our next topic...

Sterling Treasure boxes! These boxes will contain rare loot, ranging from ships to sparrows to armor and more! You can obtain these boxes via a few different methods. The first is to purchase them from Tess at the Eververse Trading Company, which means that we will be able to buy armor, Chroma, ships etc with real money. However, if giving Destiny even more of your hard-earned money turns you off, no worries, you can obtain them totally free as well! You have the ability to collect three treasures for free each week by visiting the postmaster, completing the level 41 version of the Prison of Elders, and by playing the weekly featured Crucible match!

Last but not least, we will be seeing Year One legendary weapons come back, with up to 330 light! They will drop from Vanguard and Crucible reward packages and there are quite a few of them! To accent this, reputation gains have been increased for strikes, the Crucible and the Prison of Elders, meaning more gear for guardians.

Here is a list of the Year One weapons returning so far (this is just what we know from the stream, there may be more!)
    1. The Devil You Know
    2. Shadow Price
    3. LDR 5001
    4. Badger CCL
    5. The Comedian
    6. THE SWARM
    7. Y-09 Longbow Synthesis
    8. Grim Citizen III
    9. Two to the Morgue
    10. Zombie Apocalypse WF47
    11. The Saterienne Rapier
Later this week we will get our final update. Not much is known about it at this time, but Bungie has hinted that we will be seeing something concerning subclasses, weapon changes and even a change to special ammo! What could that mean? Be sure to check out the new article I'll be writing on it in a few days!

This new content looks cool. Prison of elders. Sounds pretty cool. Damn you can get a higher light level so you can do the prison of elders better? Awesome! And that one strike looks great!

Sarcasm levels. Too. High. My god what destiny fans will do to believe Bungie actually give you something new.

The armor is cool but I doubt it'll get me to play this game again.. Maybe I will, but probably not.

Recently got this game almost a week ago and I am level 26 already. Really really love this game and I want to continue playing it until I have run out of things to do. This update looks good, although I don't understand how it works it still interests me.

Oh wow so o can grind to try to be unique, just for everyone to buy the gear so I won't be. Fun, right? Everyone is just going to use the taken armor, there will be no point to having it.

I guess that's one way to look at it. Idk, since loot in Destiny is totally random I wouldn't consider that a fair complaint, you could grind for the taken armor for a month and never get it, you could spend a hundred bucks on treasures and never get it. Paying increases the loot you get, but it doesn't guarantee that you'll get what you want. I don't really have a problem with treasures being purchasable.

That's what makes it unique though... Paying the money makes it so much easier. I thought destiny tk be a grindy type of game, but the purchaseables make it not... They are slowly reaching pay to win, and I just don't like the idea.

Content that'll give me a reason to re-install it. Ex. New raid. Besides on this forum, I don't personally know anyone who will start playing again because of this update. Games just dead. I'm even bored of The Division.. Think that game is worse than this one. I liked Destiny in its prime days

A new raid isn't something that comes in a monthly update lol, that's like wanting new maps in a CoD patch. I get that you have run out of content to keep you playing the game, but expecting so much out of a simple monthly update is a bit much imo.

More like the April update lol. They don't have stuff like this monthly. And not really considering the first raid came with the game.. Just got released a few weeks later. I don't expect more from this update I expected more from Bungie overall. I don't know if I should blame Activision but they need bigger expansions. Even TTK got old quickly
