Eric Osborne, Bungie's Head of Community, recently shared details regarding Bungie's strong partnership with Sony. "We really didn't know where anybody was going, but it became really clear talking with Sony at the outset that their vision really aligned with where we wanted to go." Osborne said. "They worked with us, of course, on core systems and the controller itself - making it better for shooters, helping improve that for players, helping include and improve the social aspects of the game."

After that, it's clear Bungie really does have a strong partnership with Sony, even after being one of Microsoft's 'poster boys' in the past. Osborne later says, "We have to make some inroads with Sony fans, who haven't really experienced any Bungie games before." As such Bungie is going to be exclusively releasing multiple pieces of in-game content for Destiny to the PS3 and PS4. Playstation gamers will have access to a Co-op Strike mission on Mars, in-game gear, ships, weapons, an exclusive multiplayer map and of course the public Alpha. Playstation gamers will also be able to pick-up a sexy new White PS4 with Destiny pre-loaded on launch.

So what are you thoughts on Bungie's new found "love" for Sony? Are you excited to see Bungie move on from being Microsoft exclusive? Personally I'm glad they're moving on but I'm disappointed that they're giving Microsoft the cold shoulder by making things exclusive to Sony now.
