There's always something incredibly special about the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, whether it being the limitless opportunities in which gamers have to create an imaginative theme park or the sheer fun of entertaining and watching over the virtual ticket holders which have attending your theme park. My childhood was spent playing the RCT series, I had spent endless hour constructing rollercoasters and making sure that all of the park's staff were doing their jobs, however, the series began to die down and after RCT's last edition, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 which was released in 2004, Atari had seemingly forgotten about the game, until now. After 10 years without an extra step in the entertaining saga, Atari have finally released the mobile version called 'RollerCoaster Tycoon 4', they have also released news on an upcoming PC version on the horizon too.

Running simultaneously with the PC version, RCT 4 Mobile allows users to create the theme park of their dreams, but this time using a much smaller and portable system. The new game enables users to unlock new materials in which they can use to construct their park, socialise with other gamers across the globe and all alongside the classic features which have featured so highly in the past. Below is a list of the new features which Atari have implemented in the new game:

•Intuitive RollerCoaster Editor.
•20 pre-designed coasters.
•Over 50 different attractions, restaurants, concession stands, hotels and decorations.
•Unlock new materials to construct cooler, faster and taller coasters.
•Grow your economy by creating the ultimate amusement park.
•Connect with friends on Facebook and Game Center.
•Share roller coaster blueprints.
•Top the Game Center leaderboards online.
•Game is pre-loaded with over $5.00 of in-game currency.

Now, this is where it gets more interesting, after 10 agonising years without a new PC version, Atari have finally released information on when they are likely to release RollerCoaster Tycoon 4. The Japanese game console and game developer have announced that RCT 4 will release in the holiday 2014, offering more social features which the previous series lacked. Not much more information was released however the PC game is currently in development whilst in the meantime avid fans are able to waste hours playing the mobile version which is available from the App Store for $2.99.
